Casting realistic icicles for display or theming applications is easy with our WC-784 Water Clear urethane product. Using a Platinum based silicone mold, the material is mixed and poured into the mold and allowed to cure for 4-5 hours. Heat can speed up the demold time. Mixing the material without degassing the air bubbles can also give a realistic effect. The cured part is clear, UV stable, tough (not brittle), and can be back-lit for more dramatic effect.
