let me elaborae. the rubber is used as a stabliser for an arcade stick. it helps keep the stick centered. so when i push it in one direction and let it go it comes back to the center.
i need a shore strength that will make the stick extremely stiff and a quick spring back to the center, if that makes sense.
i’ve treid shore 95 which centers really slowly but the stiffness when pushing feels ok. it has to be above 50 and below 90. . . i assume.
You probably want a 20-30A material as those are the most common. The ability of a material to return to its original shape is its “memory”, and is independent of Shore A value.

i need a really hard and flexible rubber, which shore strength should i go for? when i say flexible i mean it sprngs back to its original shape almost instantly.
