I've been attempting mold making for a few years now and have been mostly self taught. Michaels video filled in the holes, in a lot of the areas that I was having some hang ups. It was so simple once I saw it in action. I like this one enought to try the second video. I'm more interested in the complex molds, but I bought this video to make sure I had the basics, now I feel I do. the reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that if I hadn't had any experience with making molds, I would have been lost on a couple of steps. A must for those of us learning the mold making process.

I hate to say not to buy this video. But, the quality of the video is much worse than the YouTube videos that are available for free by bitymoldsupply. I would like to think that buying a DVD would offer "premium" content -- but that is simply not true in this case. Though individually shorter, the YouTube videos seem to have more detail and are much less monotonous than this DVD.
