I can’t say enough how thorough Ms. Warner-Hunter’s books are – they are step-by-step, material suggested, inspirational, and illustrated (photographic)! As an artist, this book was helpful in clarifying issues I had with materials: and, as a teacher, I believe even a middle or high schooler could follow this manual. Lark books are fabulous and this one of the best!
    Rating: 5 / 5

  3. L. Stuecher says:

This a great idea book. Many fun and interesting projects. Directions and supplies needed are well explained.

  4. M. Grosjean says:

Wow! This book is so well done. Lots of images, a great variety of techniques demonstrated, a touch of humor… She present the work of a wide variety of artists to give a better idea of all the possibilities the concrete can offert.

The steps are clear, the images abondant, the information absolutly accurate.

You will need nothing else than this book to start your own creative work.

I have searched the web, researched via Youtube and taken classes. This book is no doubt the best manual if you are interested in making items using cement. The recipe pages were especially helpful. Equally good for the novice and the experienced craftsman.
