Does anybody know if I can buy impact modified
acrylic resin or polycarbonate resin. Back in 1980 when my brother was in high school he made an object out of acrylic resin. He told me the resin came in two parts that would harden after being mixed together. Like bondo.
Got any advice. Marty.
Are you sure it was acrylic? Acrylic casting is highly toxic. Polyester resin on the other hand is a two part material that is designed for clear casting. Check out the video listed above, ‘Cast Embedments in Clear Resin.’
