hi, what size compressor do you use for spraying your gelcoat? and i assume you thin it down, whats best to use for this styrene or acetone, ive read that styrene is best but everyone seems to use acetone instead with mixed results!??

I mix NOTHING! Spray Gelcoat at 40 to 60 psi sometimes as low as 30 psi if gelcoat is thin........ I spray gelcoat right out of the can and don't thin it at all...you should never thin your gelcoat unless its old and lumpy.... for this use acetone......any compressor will work fine as long as it can run constant psi
