The condition of the book, the service is just great. The book is a Christmas Present and of course you are only interested in the service and condition of the book and it was what I expected.

There are few books that are so good that they span the age groups from those just starting out in life to those in their retirement years. Margaret Register graphically portrays the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat of mission life. If this were fiction it would be a good read, but these are the words of one who is pouring out her heart to all that will listen. This important book will be life changing for those just getting ready to enter the world of culture shock, separation from loved ones, and the gratification of seeing lives changed. It will be like sharing your accomplishments and hurts for those who are facing trials on the mission field. It is like looking through your own photo album for tired, retired, missionaries who have given so much.
Yes, I recommend this book not only for missionaries, but for anyone who feels a call on their life to serve God. See how one missionary family has changed an entire country. It will make you want to increase your missions budget!

My friend Dean does not LIKE this book — he LOVES it! Usually he reads slowly and doesn’t finish a book for days on end. He devoured these stories over the weekend! I have never seen him be such an avid reader.
